Housing for Women in Need
Since 1954, the Women’s City Club has been offering safe, affordable and nurturing housing for single low-income, working women as they transition towards a more self-supporting future. Everyone experiences rough spots in life. WCC is a home where woman can get back on track with low rent, the help of a mentor and information about resourses in the community. It is transitional housing for independent women who are able to live in a house with shared communal spaces.
We have housed more than 1,000 women over the past 70 years.
In Need of Housing Assistance?
If you are looking to make changes in your living arrangements, are working, female and low income, the Women’s City Club may be able to help. If we have openings, we require background checks and personal and work- related recommendations. Because of shared spaces, we are particular to protect other residents. We do not allow anyone but residents and volunteers upstairs, no drugs, tobacco or alcohol. If you think this might be for you and that you will qualify, call us at 740-602-4423.
“Great place to help people to get back on their feet”
